In order to equalise the input of copper and at the same time the consumption of germanium in wave and selective soldering systems filled with ISO-Tin®”SN100-403C”, we recommend the use of our refill solder ISO-Tin®”SN100-403CeS+” (0.05 % Cu, 0.025 % Ge). Although ISO-Tin®”SN100-403C” has a lower Cu leaching rate than other lead-free solders, Cu level equalisation is still necessary in most cases. The additional germanium serves to reduce dross in open wave soldering systems.
