To compensate copper in wave and selective soldering systems filled with ISO-Tin®”SN100-403C”, we recommend the use of our copper-free refill solder ISO-Tin®”SN100-403Ce”. As most PCBs and components have copper tracks and connections, copper is flushed into the solder bath during the soldering process. Although ISO-Tin®”SN100-403C” has a lower copper leaching rate than other lead-free solders, copper levelling is still necessary in most cases.
