Description
The oxidation reducing effect of germanium in the FELDER NiGe solders is linked to the consumption of this element during the solder process. The ideal Ge-content inside the solder bath should be between 0,008% and 0,015%. By adding Ge-concentrate this consumption can be rebalanced. The increased germanium content of FELDER ISO-Tin® “Sn95Ag+ High-Ge” makes an additional refilling of germanium concentrate unnecessary and ensures a constant high germanium content of the solder.
