lead-free NiGe-doped refill solder with 0.3 % silver and increased germanium content (1000 ppm) for wave soldering processes in electronic assembly production
The oxidation reducing effect of germanium in the FELDER NiGe solders is linked to the consumption of this element during the solder process. The ideal Ge-content inside the solder bath should be between 0,008 % and 0,015 %. The increased germanium content at 1000 ppm of FELDER ISO-Tin® “Sn99Ag+ High-Ge” makes an additional refilling of germanium concentrate unnecessary and therefore ensures a constant high germanium content inside the solder bath.
